Getting out of Homework

A/n: Okay, even I, xBelovedx, am weirded out by my mind sometimes. This is a story I had to write for English using twenty of our spelling words so some of it might not make sense. I got bored and decided I would post it for anyone who wants to see how weird my mind is and hopefully I will get some comments on it.

"Hello, Earth to Prongs." Said Padfoot to his best friend, who happened to be in a reverie at eh moment.

"Huh? What?" Prongs muttered jumping slightly at being roughly torn from his thoughts.

"Houston, we have contact."

"What do you want Paddy?" Prongs got off his bed and traversed the dorm back and forth while waiting for his friend to make his predictable request.

"Prongsee, would you do my history homework for me, I can't read the notes I took. Pretty please?" Sirius got on his knees and clasped his hands out in font of him. This was a supplicate gesture because he really couldn't discern between most of the chicken scratch the was called his handwriting. Prongs stopped pacing and smirked while looking at the begging form of his friend on the floor.

"Why you illiterate, devious dog you. You have been planning this from the beginning haven't you?"

Padfoot smiled, "Your were always deft in uncovering my plots to get out of doing home work. And yes, I have been planning this since this morning but I didn't mean to take such shoddy notes." His tenuous answer was just above a whisper and he hung his head in a stricken way. Prongs just stood there, tapping a finger against his head.

James knew that this conversation had long past its zenith but he still wanted to be tentative; he wasn't ready to give in just yet.

"You are unscrupulous you do know that don't you?" Padfoot realized that James had his own homework to do but before he could say anything Prongs held out his hand and sighed. "Give me you notes and whatever else you have so far."

Sirius jumped up tumultuously and made a ruse at sanctifying James. "Thank you Prongsee, you are too kind to me."

"Yeah, yeah, now just get off of me." Sirius had wrapped his arms around James and kissed him on the cheek. Unaware that their other best mates had come back to the dorm, Sirius had done the latter of the two things above in full view of Moony and Wormtail. Wormtail's mind was speculating the scene and he gasped repugnantly.

Unlike Wormtail, Moony was unassuming about the situation. Being the smartest and most logical of the four, he knew that this situation was untenable at the moment.

"Thanks again you are a life savor James. Now if you will excuse me, I have a date with Elle." He scrambled over to his bed and scooped up everything pertaining to History and dumped them in Prongs's arms. He then rushed out past Remus and Peter but stopped and turned to face Moony. "You look pale mate, you feeling all right?" He said worriedly. He was right, Moony was infact more pallid today than normal and the full moon was still weeks away.

"Fine, I'm fine. Have fun on your date Paddy." Replied Moony. Padfoot shrugged and continued on his way and Remus turned to James.

Let me guess; you got stuck doing his homework for him this time. Which trick did he use, the 'I lost my notes', or the 'I can't read my notes', or the ever famous 'I don't take as good of notes as you do'?"

"the second one."

"Yeah, he gets me with that one too."

"Say, do you want to help me with this Rem, you are the smarter of us four." Prongs said hopefully.

"Not on your life. Wormtail you help James." Replied Moony picking up a book he had recently started to read and slipped out of the room leaving James and Peter, who was still trying to figure out how he got roped into it, to write Sirius's report.
