The Ten Commandments of Slytherin
1. Thou shalt take that which makes thy stronger and abstain from that which will make thou weak
2. Thou shalt seize every opportunity thou is given for this is ambition
3. Thou shalt act upon the nobility bestowed by thy blood and ancestry
4. Thou shalt know and be conscious of thy surroundings and act in accordance
5. Thou shalt utilize the resources thou hast been given
6. Do what thou wilt with thy magic so long as it serves purpose
7. Thou shalt pay tribute to thy house and adopt the serpentine
8. Thou shalt understand that thy end justifies thy means
9. Thou shalt not be indulged into lowering thy standards
10. Thou shalt calculate thy decisions for to not do so would be recklessness
As a Slytherin I am subject to these commandments bestowed upon me by my house, the ancient house of serpents. Through the will of Slytherin no one person who does not abide by these commandments is not to be seen as such a Slytherin and shall be looked upon within the house as something detestable.
