A/N- So I have this little notebook where I write anything, original, fanfiction, random thoughts, anything and everything. The other day I finished an original story in there and realized the notebook was about halfway full, so this is in honor of that.
"Halfway Points"
"You know, you could have said something." She yelled to be heard over the din of battle.
"What do you mean?" His pale blue eyes searched hers.
"You gave Robin leadership and then you left! You could have said something, like, I don't know, why!" She glared back, unable to admit how much it hurt.
"I apologize!"
"Doesn't matter! You still left!" They both ducked a little lower as an explosion hit.
"Please, forgive me." His dark hand grabbed her arm and pulled her close, making sure she could hear him.
"We'll see." She smirked, turning back to the battle.

"Why?" She tried to see the eyes behind the mask, to no avail.
"Why what Zee?" He hadn't seemed to notice the break in her fighting.
"Why did you leave?"
"You know why."
"But why didn't you say goodbye?" This shocked him, making him turn and finally look at her piercing blue eyes.
"That's hardly a question you should be asking right now."
"Now's a perfect time, you can't run like you usually do." She turned, surprising the man behind her, and cast a quick spell, knocking him out. "You had everything, a team, a home, leadership, me. And you left without a word."
"I know."
"But you were still Robin. And you still protected people. But even when that other team saw me, you never said a word to me."
"I know."
"Why?"
"I don't know."

"You lied." His growling voice echoed through the fight, reaching the Martian.
"You really want to bring this up now Superboy?"
"Yes."
"Okay, I lied. But if I hadn't I would have never met you."
"You still lied."
"Yeah, well."
"Mainly to me."
"Yeah. I know that."
"You could have said something, anything!"
"I was afraid."
"Of what?"

She was smiling behind that mask, he knew it. She was happy to fight him.
"You gonna change sides yet?"
"And give up all this fun? No way."
"How about if I beat you?"
"Not likely, but I'll consider it."
In a flurry of kicks and punches, Cheshire found herself pinned to the dirt below.
"Impressive hero."
"I know."
She squirmed, attempting to remove herself from his grip. He knew she was going to try to get away, and tightened his hold.
"You said you would consider it if I won, I won."
"I know."

"Why?" Emerald eyes looked into stormy blue.
"Because I had to." She stared down the shaft of her arrow.
"But we could have helped you!"
"No, you couldn't have. He would have killed you."
"Please, just come back now." He extended his arm, hoping she would drop the weapon aimed at his heart.
"I can't. It's too late now."
"It's never too late."
"Just get out of here, before he comes for you." She turned away, letting the bow fall from her fingertips.
"But I can't let you go."
"But you have to."
A/N- So that's that.
Pairings in this (from the top) are Aqualad/whoever you want her to be, I was thinking probably like Wondergirl or something, he really needs a girl that's on the team, 'cause he's getting jipped, Robin (or in this case Nightwing)/Zatanna, Superboy/Miss Martian (in this she is a White Martian, just not at that moment), Red Arrow/Cheshire (I just love those two), and Kid Flash/Artemis.
Well that's a lot of talk and not much story. Quick question, anyone else notice Robin isn't getting his own episode soon, I mean it's gonna go MM, SB, Arty for the next three and KF and AL have already had theirs, even Zatanna's had one!
