A/N: Here's another Musketeer's story I had lying around. I've hesitated to post this, but I thought I'd give it a go and see what the feedback is. This is a more serious one and one that is definitely different from what I know is normally found on here in terms of formatting. To be honest, this style is more like what I write in my original fiction. The site ruined the original formatting, which I was rather fond of and I found worked well with the narrative laid out here. I do have it up on my tumblr, the link to which you can find in my profile, if you're curious.
Please read, relax, and enjoy.
The Romantic Hero and the Loneliest Woman in Paris
In a distant life,
In another time,
With different rules,
They have a chance,
To get it right
To make it right
To get them right
The romantic hero
and
the loneliest woman in Paris
they laugh
they love
they cry
they despair
they bicker
they fight
together
Unaware of their past
Of the danger
duplicity
deception
deceit
In this life
In this time
With these rules
They have a chance
The romantic hero
and
the loneliest woman in Paris
to be in love
to be passionate
to be together
to have a family
Their child,
a happy, healthy boy,
is never his.
