Percy:

Kalli is now three years old and today we are going to the park to play for a little while her me and Annabeth.

We arrive and I pull her out of her car seat. Her hair is now shoulder length and has her lovely princess curls. She looks up at me smiles and says "pway time daddy?"

"Yes baby it play time today are you excited" is say as I tickle her sides. She giggles and runs away to her mother's legs.

"Oh Percy leave her alone and let her play" Annabeth scolds me.

"Fine, fine, run along now my little sea sprite we'll be right behind you.

Third person following Kalli:

She looked around. Excited that her daddy had brought her here, she saw many kids and started running towards the playground. When she saw a puppy chortling with pleasure she ran over to the dog. And it got bigger, it's eyes began to glow red as its teeth grew. And out of the shadows stepped two more dogs even bigger than the first two.

Kallie sat down and started crying for her daddy.

"kaaaaallie. Run baby run, daddy's coming"

Percy:

I looked over to where Kalli had run and the life drained from my face.

"Annabeth look. Run, hell hounds!" I shouted as we both ran pale and terrified toward our baby.

"Kaaaaaaalie, Run baby run, daddy's coming" I shouted as I saw her start to cry and yell daddy.

Then out of the shadows a ways away I saw a fourth one. The largest yet, and I knew I couldn't reach her in time. But I kept running, denying fate as I'd done my entire life.

The fourth hell hound arrived and leapt as Annabeth tripped crying and didn't stand. But instead of leaping on Kalli the Hell hound stood over her and bared her fangs. It was Mrs. O'Leary! I ran up beside her pulling out Riptide.

"You protect Kalli and I'll take care of the dogs" I yell. Mrs. O'Leary barked in agreement as I leapt into action.

Soon all that was left were three piles of gold dust. I had gotten to two of them when the third leapt at Kalli. I had screamed until is saw Mrs. O'Leary's jaws clamp over its throat In midair and crushed it into a fine powder. It fell over Kalli causing her to sneeze then giggle in happiness clapping and reaching up to the massive dog.

"Hey baby this is a friend of ours her names Mrs. O'Leary. Can you say that sweety?"

"Eary!" she yelled happily.

Annabeth ran up to us and enveloped Mrs. O'Leary in a hug, "Oh thank you, thank you thank you. I'm so sorry if I've ever been mean to you. Let's get you a big bag of meat. Oh thank you." Annabeth gushed as she hugged the massive K-9.

It was then I noticed the note on her collar. Taking it off I read aloud. "Dear Percy, Here's and thank you for all you've done for me. She will stay with you now and will be a protector for Kalli as long as she's alive. In school and everywhere Mrs. O'Leary will watch. Even if killed she will automatically reform.

Sincerely your uncle H."

I looked at Annabeth as she picked up Kalli and we smiled and said a small prayer to Hades for such a wonderful present.
