E/O Challenge: An Idiom – "Laughter is the best medicine."
The hunt had been bad. And John Winchester was hurting.
He'd wanted to hide his injuries, but 9-year-old Dean wasn't to be fooled. The boy had the first aid kit ready in moments and John bit his cheek to keep quiet as Dean worked.
Suddenly the bedroom door opened and little Sammy tore into the room wearing a green trash bag, Dean's green t-shirt on his head and roaring loudly.
The others stared, dumbfounded.
"Sammy, what the hell?" Dean asked.
"I'm Godzilla!" the tot proclaimed proudly.
John laughed out loud, all pain suddenly forgotten.
Laughter truly is the best medicine.
