At the tip of my fingers

And at the core of my soul

Consuming my once strong heart

Beyond the point to condole

Falling through a deep darkness

An empty eternity

Only one thought on my mind

That keeps my heart partly free

The darkness grows, engulfing

Coursing like a dreary stream

Its thorny vines bind me tight

I can't move, or even scream

A swirling pool rampaging

In the far back of my mind

Washing out my consciousness

As I leave my world behind
