This story takes place in an AU, where the sickness never took place and all the kids know each other.

Jester felt himself grow bored. He had nothing to do. And anybody he had thought of hanging out with was either busy, not here at the moment, or they didn't like him at all. Maxie, Blue, and their crew were definitely out of the question. Ever since David had locked those two in his closet, they had despised Jester and David.
Jester chuckled slightly at the memory of that moment. If David hadn't been so desperate to make a giant friend group, he would have actually gained the respect of the Holloway Gang. Who knows what it would have been like if they had those kids as well.
David looked over from a corner of Jester's backyard. He hadn't even warned him that he was coming over. David didn't really care though, so he proceeded to watch Jester. Then, an idea came into his mind. What if he played a joke on Jester? Surely he wouldn't mind…
David walked away from the corner and walked into his house. He walked into Jester's parent's room and looked for anything of use.
"Diamond rings, pistol ammo, the pistol, some migraine pills, and just a bunch of other useless crap!" David grumbled to himself. Jester's parents didn't have anything that would be harmless yet funny to use to prank him.
Just as David was about to exit the room, his eyes caught sight of a shiny metal rod. He quickly headed over to it and examined it. David had never seen such a contraption and was trying to find out what it was. An immediate thought was that it was a laser pointer. He took off the cap and tried to use it.
It did nothing.
David didn't care and thought of using it to pretend to make it seem like a laser pointer. He put the thing into his jacket pocket and headed back downstairs.
Jester thought he heard some movement in his house, but brushed it off as his parents already being home. He laid on the wet grass, taking in the stuff around him.
The blue sky, the green plant life, David walking towards him, the houses surrounding his own….
Jester's eyes widened as he remembered seeing David walking towards him. He looked over again and saw him walking slowly, a grin that sent shivers down his spine for some reason. David was going to do something.
Ok David, just point the thing and press the little button you just found out about. Maybe that will make the laser work. Just point, aim, and shoot.
Jester saw David take out a weird metal thing. He thought it looked familiar, but then David pointed the thing towards him. Now he remembered what exactly the thing was. It was his Dad's vape!
Jester blocked his face just as he saw a ball of smoke spreading out towards him.
David's eyes widened as he saw smoke come out instead of a laser. Now, the realization struck him… This thing was a vape!
Jester looked over at David right after the smoke cleared up.
"David, what the hell! Why did you get my dad's vape?!"
"Uh, I thought it was a laser?" David nervously grinned and chuckled.
"But guess what Jester?"
"What?"
"You just got VAPED!"
" -_- David, I swear to God!"
