A Christmas Gift (KyoxMisao)
Bought the first two volumes and this popped into my mind. It came while I was in U.S. Studies. I've read the preview in Shojo Beat and my cousin is also addicted to the manga too. So I don't own Black Bird, Kanoko Sakurakoji does.
Whatever caused Misao to look up was nothing unless it was another spirit causing mischief again. Which was the possible answer for her wondering.
"Hey there Lady Misao!" Taro called as he followed Kyo to his intended bride. He just had to call to the high school girl to get her attention.
Looking at the tengu's hands, she saw a box wrapped in it. Raising a blond eyebrow, she stared at the present that he was presenting her. Hearing the crunching of the snow stop, she looked at him then to his hands. As he set it on her lap, she kept her eyes glued to his hands so he wouldn't do anything to her.
"Merry Christmas." He spoke softly, not wanting to break the atmosphere around them. It was a peaceful winter day with fresh snow from the previous night.
Keeping the eyebrow raised, she unwrapped it to stare. Raising it, she stared at it more. "What is this?"
"Lingerie!" Kyo blurted out before holding his cheek.
Throwing it at him, she stomped away. The nerve the guy had.
"It's the thought that matters." He mumbled as he watched her disappear into her house.
Short and sweet. It's done. Please review and tell me what you think.
