What exactly love was to her,
She'd know the second of its birth.

To see the future of a love,
And from the day of that first kiss,
It would be all she would think of.

When nightmares plagued her dreams,
That one day a man would hold her,
And she'd see what love means.

She fantasized of kisses with
A prince so handsome and true,
And that first kiss that would tell her,
If he was good enough to pursue.

And one day when she found him,
A strong hero by her side,
She did everything to keep him,
She blackmailed and she lied.

And when he pressed his lips to hers,
She felt that promised spark,
She was glad that her mother
Had not kept her in the dark.

But somewhere in herself she knew,
That he hadn't felt it back,
He wasn't in love with her at all,
Like his precious heart attacks.

Once again, I think this is a little bit cutesy. But it's about Misa too, so I think that it's more okay fort hat reason, because she's such a cutesy person. I rather like the idea of this poem, more than the wording of it. Poor Misa; everyone knows Light belongs to L. :P
