(Riku POV) I starred out the window watching my new neighbors take everything out of the moving van and into there house. My mom said they had a son, but I

haven't seen anyone besides two adults.

"Riku, stop starring out the window." Jasmine, my mom said.

"Ok." I said moving away from the window.

I was hoping for them to have a son around my age. After all, there isn't many people here on Destiny Island. My only friends are Roxas, Axel, Kairi, Namine, Zexion,

Demyx, and Saix.

'I wonder if Roxas knows who the knew family is?' I thought.

Later around five in the afternoon someone came knocking on the door.

"I got it!" I shouted.

I paused my video game and went to answer the door. I wasn't surprized to see my new neighbors there. I motioned for them to come in. I almost didn't see the teen

hiding behind them.

"Welcome welcome!" I heard my mom say from the kitchen.

I walked slowly to the kitchen hoping I would get to see who that teen was.

(Sora POV) As me, my mom, and my dad where waiting for someone to answer the door I heard someone shout something. I then hid behind my parents. I was shy

when it came to meeting new people. The boy though was probably no older then me. Probably a year or two older. When he answered the door I hoped he

wouldn't see me. But he did when we walked inside.

"Welcome welcome!" Someone said when we walked into the kitchen.

"Hello, I'm Jane, and this is my husband Nick." My mom Jane said.

"I'm Jasmine. And who is that hiding behind you?" Jasmine asked.

My dad moved out of my way.

"This is Sora." My dad, Nick said.

"Oh, I have a son to! His name is Riku. He's standing right behind you." Jasmine said.

I turned around to see he was starring at me. I mentally face palmed.

"I'm Riku." He said.

I just nodded then made a mad dash for the door. My dad cought me though by my shirt.

"You're not going anywhere Sora." My dad said.

I pouted.

"That's not going to work on me anymore and you know that." He said.

I heard Riku laughing in the background.

"It's not funny!" I shouted.

He then stopped. My dad let go of me and I just went and sat down in the living room. Not to long after that Riku came in.

"Hey, you ok?" Riku asked me.

"I'm fine." I replied.

Riku sat down beside me.

"So...How old are you?" Riku asked.

"I'm sixteen." Was my reply.

"Nice. I'm seventeen." Riku said.

I was surprised that he was a year older then me. Most people I met where either adults already or not even teenagers.

"So why did you and your family move to Destiny Island?" RIku asked.

"Twilight Town was to loud, and most of the people there hated us. So my mom and dad decided to move somewhere quieter." I said.

Riku just nodded.

"Well, me and my mom where born and raised here." Riku said.

"What about your dad?" Sora asked.

"He left when I was ten. Aperrently he couldn't handle me." Riku said.

"Oh." I said.

I felt sorry for Riku. I still had my dad and I AM hard to handle. I hugged him. I was like that even with people I just met.

"Why are you hugging me?" Riku asked.

I stopped hugging him.

"Sorry." I said.

I swore my face went bright red.

A couple hours later we left.

(Riku POV) I was some reason at a loss with Sora gone. And I think my mom could tell.

"Hey, you ok?" Jasmine asked.

"I'm fine mom." I said.

She just shrugged and left m alone. I starred out my bedroom and noticed that Sora's room was on the side of the house that faced me. I chuckled. His curtain was

open to. When he went to close the curtain he saw me and waved. I waved back. I just knew this was going to be a nice friendship between me and him.
