She lay there motionless, no one moving, no one speaking. Everyone had there eyes' on her. Everyone was feeling different emotions, guilt, sadness, annoyance, and glee, although there were many other emotions. She was a true Gryffindor brave, and caring. She would give herself up all for him, for everyone. This was another sacrifice made for Harry. She had given her life, so Harry could save the world. Her name was Sophie.

Sophie's POV

Professor McGonagall had told the entire first through fourth years to go to the common rooms, but I had to help. I ran dodging all the prefects, darting past students, missing spells by an inch. I had no idea that later today I would be dead. As a first year I knew very little spells. I used the occasional Petrificus Totalus, Everte Statum, or even Flipendo but that wasn't much use. Tears shedding down my face, as I ran. I saw some of my friends, classmates and even teachers dead. As I ran outside to what I believe is the clock tower courtyard.

It's hard to tell which was which with all the destruction and damage. All the old charm and history can never be replaced. I doubt the school will ever be fully back to normal. Such a pity this happened to Hogwarts. The curriculum was no better though. I've heard stories about when Dumbledore ran the school, he sounded wonderful.

The students all ready had cuts and bruises. The seventh years had to practice the Cruciatus curse on us this year. At the courtyard everyone was still. I saw Voldemort carry in a boy, he was Harry Potter. Immediately a Red headed girl screamed, I assumed she was his girlfriend. I felt a twinge of guilt as I saw her face. Voldemort and his followers began cackling. Voldemort began asking for people to join him. Almost everyone stayed except for a blonde haired boy named Draco. I've heard other Gryffindors complain about him so he must be a Slytherin and/or a bully. Not a big loss if he's a slytherin.

Voldemort kept ranting on with the occasional cackle or grimace. He walked past every student analyzing if they were powerful or not. When he walked past me I held my breath my knees buckled and I was so quiet I could hear my heart's beat. I was so small compared to him, I dared not look him in the eyes. He lifted my chin so I could look up I gulped. He seemed so… heartless. I thought about my death, my family back home and them receiving the news of my death, the fact that I would not be returning home for Christmas. I had no idea I would be right. He grabbed me by my tie. I gasped aloud, tears immediately ran down my face.

'Tell me, child what is your blood status?'

'H-hhalf m-my blood status is half'

'Ah yes, you seem very powerful, tell me who do you support?'

'Harry potter I s-ssuport h-h-hhim'

'Why?'

'Because he's not a murderer' I heard some chuckles from that and I regained a bit of confidence.

'Ultimate power. That's what I have, does Potter have that? No he doesn't because he's dead, I killed him and he's dead.'

'People hate and fear you and you call that ultimate power? I call that being a jerk'

SMACK! He'd struck me a now my lip was bleeding. I suppose I deserved that. I was pushing the envelope a bit. I got up and ran back to McGonagall, she hugged me tightly.

'I might as well kill you, such a waste of powerful blood' some of the death eaters looked shocked the girl was only 11 and he was going to murder her! Bellatrix laughed, she was also heartless. He pointed his wand at me about to cast the spell, when Harry jumped out of Hagrid's arms. He immediately ran, he stopped for a moment. That idiot what was he doing?

'STOP, POTTER! SOMEONE DO SOMETHING!'

Harry, just froze, he didn't move an inch.

'Avada kedavra'

'NOOOOOOOO' I cut him off and jumped in the spell.

I felt my hearts last beat. Surprise etched on my face permanently.
