"Ruby, you still need to report to Ozpin. No sleep for you yet" Weiss pointed out. "Buuut Weiss..." Ruby whines while shifting look to pull at Weiss' heart. "No 'Buts' and don't even try with that infernal puppy dog face. It won't work this time." She declares turning her back to Ruby. Ruby instantly stops her look and with her head down says, "Fine but you have to wait up for me." "What, why?" Weiss asks incredulously. " Because I want someone to share the details of the after action report with and you are my partner. Plus i may need help with a problem on Oobleck's homework" Ruby states. And I don't want to wake Weiss, she's mean when she is groggy Ruby thinks to herself. "Don't worry Sis, I'll stay up for you if Ice Queen won't" Yang says encouragingly. "Thanks, but I'm sure Weiss would have stayed up for me" Ruby says questioningly. "Of course I would have, dolt" Weiss curtly replies. "Well if both of you are staying up for her might as well be a team thing and we all go with her" Blake calmly points out. "Plus we can make sure Ruby doesn't leave out any details on her report because she wants to get back to the dorm and more importantly her bed" Weiss reasons. "Hey! I'm a professional!"Ruby exclaims. "You are, so you should act like it and get a move on so you can get your job done and into bed sooner rather than later" Weiss agrees. Ruby realizes Weiss has a point as she opens her mouth to try and argue more only to shut it since it is wasting time she could be sleeping. "Come on team, time to go see Ozpin" Ruby says while starting a brisk walking speed. Weiss having anticipated more of an argument has to jog slightly to catch up while the other two had matched Ruby's speed already. After a few minutes at Ruby's near jog of a walk the team arrives to a room they are getting more and more familiar with, Ozpin's office. Yang nudges Ruby to knock since she has been standing there timidly. "Thanks Yang, sometimes I forget that be in the headmaster's office here isn't always bad like back at signal" Ruby admits. Yang puts her hand on Ruby's back to comfort her and show she stands by her. The other two don't understand why it is such a big deal to Ruby but each one has a hand find Ruby's back to show she has all of their support. Ruby walks forward with a bit more pep in her step now and knocks solidly on the old oak door standing between them and ultimately their beds. The girls here footsteps as they get close to the door and has it opens, out step Glynda who closes the door behind her and tell them that as soon as JNPR finishes their report on what happened in the square they would be allowed entrance. Not too long later a weary JNPR exits the room and as they spot RWBY they motion for them to enter. RWBY gets up for the seats outside Ozpin's office and enter in order. As they take a few steps from the door they hear it swing shut behind them and close resoundingly.
This is my first attempt so feedback is welcome if it isn't just hate. Hope you all enjoy it in the long run as it will be a lot longer.
