A/N: ok so i kinda randomly wrote this as I was trying to write a oneshot around "Don't Forget" by Demi Levato, guess this kinda forgets but not really...(: anyways I hate poetry but it just ended up like this. It's supposed to be like Lilly and Oliver right after a breakup/confrontation (I pictured a one night stand letting all their feelings out time thing but no happy ending), but it really could be applied to any couple. also, the lines are were the stanzas are supposed to break--it won't let me add spaces in ):
The tears
Tears rolling down her cheeks, she sits down on the sand as the waves crash around her.
Hoping the moment--falsified, hoping the one time--relived.
It can't be true.
Not her.
Not now.
Tears rolling down his cheeks, he sits down in the car as they drive around him.
Hoping what he had done--forgotten, hoping the memory--revived.
It can't be true.
Not him.
Not now.
Tears rolling down their cheeks, they watch the silent night as questions beg to be answered.
Hoping the choices they made--fake, hoping the happy times--remade.
It can't be true.
Not them.
Not now.
