Kagome waited patiently in line for skate rentals. She was sad to say that she looked really, really, really good. Sango had chose her outfit for her.

She wore ski goggles in a shade of light blue. (It was Sango's idea). She had a light blue jacket, which was really pretty, and on the chest, it said "Baby blue". Inside was a fluffy white dress that went to her knees, fluffing up. Sango had insisted that she wore her favorite long silver socks. Her hair was in a ponytail. Boys agreed that she was quite a catch.

As Kagome moved forward in the line, she realized that behind her, Kouga was whistling at her.

She smiled and waved.

The person in front of her left, and she walked up. It was a shock to her to see that it was her friend Miroku.

"Hi Miroku…you work here?" She asked.

"Yeah…you never know" He laughed. "A lot of pretty girls come here."

She whacked him in the head.

He grinned. "Speaking of pretty girls…you are looking dashing!"

"Thanks…" She blushed. "Um…skates. You know my size."

"Right…" He said and gave her a pair of skates. "Have fun!"

"I will." She said and left.

KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

"Sango." Kagome said. "Let's go."

"Right…coming!" She said. Kagome laughed. Sango had some trouble with her skates.

"Slowpoke…"Kagome teased. "I'll go first."

"Sure…"Sango said and Kagome walked into the rink when she spotted Naraku. He was her childhood bully.

Kagome continued to skate, ignoring him.

She saw Inuyasha coming up to her.

"Hey. You look…wow!" He breathed.

"Thanks." Kagome blushed deeper. "Sango chose it."

"Well…did you get asked out to the prom? Or did you ask someone?" He asked. "I wouldn't mind asking you…but Kikyou already asked me."

Kagome smiled. "Sure."

Kagome looked away just to see Naraku looking at her. He grinned and went back to skating.

Inuyasha and Kagome skated for some time before they caught up with Yuki.

"Hi Yuki." Kagome greeted.

"Good afternoon." He smiled. "Beautiful as always."

She blushed EVEN darker. "Ah…Thanks."

"No problem." He said and left.

Kagome was getting cold so she got out to the rink to sit next to the fireplace and drank her hot chocolate.

Naraku came and grinned.

Kagome shuddered.

She stood up to go. But Naraku came and tripped her. He grinned because where he pushed her was the glass table.

She barely had time to scream and she closed her eyes.

She never felt the cracking of glass because someone had caught her. She looked up to see it was a man with silver hair and golden eyes.

"Thanks…" She whispered.

"Your welcome." He muttered and started to leave.

She staggered towards him and called out, "W-wait!"

He stopped and looked back.

"Um…well…if um…you're c-cold…you c-can share hot ch-chocolate with me…" She stuttered.

His frown turned into a small smile as he nodded and sat down with her. She took out two straws as they sat by the fireplace, sharing hot chocolate.
