A/N: I started writing this in my head as I fell asleep a couple of nights ago, but was too tired –cough, lazy, cough–. Anyway, thought this would be a funny situation, especially for this couple.

I was washing the dishes when it happened.

That feeling that something had just ripped, except it didn't really hurt; it was like a rope being pulled inside me, then suddenly both sides let it fall into the pits of my stomach.

My water had just broken.

"Ikuto!" I shrieked, but placing a hand on my round belly to soothe the poor baby, "Ikuto!"

Something pounded its way don't the stairs and a frantic cat appeared in the doorway, panting. It was really both surprising and humorous to see him in such a panic; it differed so much from his old state, his empty state. To see some emotion, still was shocking.

"What? What?" He was by my side in a flash, holding my face in his hands firmly, looking straight into my eyes; he knew it calmed me when he did, "What's wrong? Is it time?"

Despite my current situation, my heartbeat was racing madly, which was worrying –it could lead to a premature labour, getting this excited.

So, I managed a small nod and off he went.

While I stood in the kitchen watching him, he was a blur; whizzing around the house, up and down the stairs, getting the bag and running to the car.

He stopped and looked around, to see if anything was missing.

It was then that he noticed I was still stunned and standing in the middle of the kitchen, immobile.

Slowly, he walked toward me, with that infamous smirk of his. Except, it was only when he was up-close, that I noticed that it was more like a smile –a genuine smile.

Leaning down, he became eye-level with me once again. He took the hand that was still on my pregnant belly and held it tenderly in both of his. He kissed the tips of my fingers before moving onto my lips.

When he does, it feels like I'm sixteen all over again; it feels like the first time he ever kissed me. This snaps me out of my trance, and I lift both my arms up to wrap them around his neck and pull him closer.

He begins to laugh, and it tickles my mouth.

"Hey, now," he pulls away, "This is how we got in this situation in the first place."

I rest my forehead against his and giggle with him.

"It's going to be ok." He whispers.

For some reason, it's only then that I realise that Ikuto is the one and only person in the whole world that I'd like to have this baby with.

"I know." I whisper back, before he takes my hand, and leads me to the car.

Gah, the only problem is that it's kinda short, and that they seem a little to calm for two people about to have a baby. Whatever, that is the power they have over each other.

Part two coming soon, so review please!
