Kami-San

Sakura had always compared Kami-San to an author. A great artist of the literate sort, constructing his pictures with words. And like all writters, he had a knack at a specific genre. Too bad he had to be so skillfull at creating sob stories.

You see, he was the all powerful novelist, and she was his pawn. Just another character to make the story more interesting, always at her expense.

As in all stories, if there is no problem, there /is/ no story to be told. Readers just can't be happy with the characters being content, and at peace. They want to read about heartbreaking desicions, seemingly wonderful adventures in a far away made up world. One with lots of /valient/ battles, impossible odds, and tradgic romance as well.

Tradgic romance. That was one thing she wished never existed. Yes, she'd been like those other readers at one time. Always craving the beautiful pain the two, usually, young lovers went through for each other. She had indeed been like the others, but not anymore. Kami-San had finally taken notice of her affenative for these sappy love stories, and a certain Uchiha heir as well. Sakura guessed it must have sparked an idea for a new story in the author's mind, because her life soon became a classic tale of woe.

Orochimaru entered the tale like a summer thunderstorm. Quickly, and unfortunately. Soon after the snake left his mark, sand betrayed leaf, her two teammates fought violently, and Sasuke left. He simply left. Exit book one, chapter four.

She was living some twisted fairytale and all she could do was hope. Hope that there was a happy closing at the end of her book. Hope that every cloud really did have a silver lining. And if it didn't, she hoped she'd make her exit from the story as well. Silently, unnoticed, and, hopefully, soon.
