Chapter 2
The sand tilted to the side of the beach causing all the sand to fall into the water. Sonic thought that this was just Eggman's base finally rising up like always. But he began to notice the reason for the sliding...Something was rising up from the bank tipping off the land that they were on. Sonic tumbled back taking him by surprise. He grabbed onto this piece of metal sticking up out of the ground. Tails and Silver were flying and picking up team members and placing them on the bank, but Sonic still grappled from the piece of metal. Eventually the land was pointing up into the sky and Sonic began to sink, then the metal piece broke off. Sonic knew he would die here. He fell into the deep dark ocean. His body went limp. BANG. He connected with a metal dome. Sonic panicked to pop a piece off. He glanced to his side seeing a glass panel. He spindashed through it landing in the room. It was empty, the walls were metal but the floor was linoleum. This was unusual for an underwater house. Water began pouring in through the panel Sonic crashed through, he ran to the nearby door and opened it to be greeted with a large creaking sound. He walked through and slammed the door behind him. There was a hallway with glass panels lining the walls around the hallway. Sonic walked through admiring his surroundings after his near death encounter. He walked through one more door at the end of the hallway, WHAM! Sonic blacked out.
Shadow began to survey the team members on the bank with him. "Oh my God," Shadow said panicking. "Where the hell is Sonic??" The group all went into a controlled chaos. Silver fell into a kneel realizing he made this mistake, he had one job and he failed miserably. Amy was crying and Tails soon followed. Silver stood up. And dove into the water below. He swam as far as he could until he was caught in a current bringing him towards a giant dome. Silver knew Sonic was in there but he didn't know if he was alive.
