Set the summer in-between sixth and seventh year(August 1977). Lily and the marauders are friends and have put aside any differences they once had.
Lily was oddly nervous and excited about today. Marlene and Alice had visited before, but she had never had more than two of her friends from Hogwarts round at once. That was mainly to keep Petunia peaceful, but this year, Tuney had gone to live with her whale of a boyfriend, so Lily was allowed as many friends as she wanted. Which turned into having 5 people over to visit. Marlene, Alice, Remus, Sirius and James. She had invited Peter, but he was currently in some European country 'discovering the world' as he had put it. Her parents had decided to spend the week in Cornwall with her grandparents, so it would just be the six of them in the house. Five clueless wizards and one muggleborn to deal with a muggle house. That should be fun.
Her parents had left yesterday, so she was home alone until the others decided to apparate into her home (side-along apparation courtesy of Marlene, who had stayed at Lily's enough times to safely apparate there).
Roughly an hour after waking up, Lily was downstairs watching the doctor who episodes her father had kindly taped for her whilst she was at Hogwarts. When she was little, it had been a tradition for her and her dad to watch it together, since her mum didn't care much for the science-fiction genre, and her sister was scared of every monster that appeared on the screen. The tradition had been lost, however, when she went to Hogwarts, but they still made a point to watch the Christmas episode together.
She heard a soft 'pop' noise from the kitchen, barely audible over the sound of the sonic screwdriver, and paused the episode.
"Marley, that you?" she called out, assuming it was her friends arriving that had made the noise.
"Hey Lils," Marlene smiled softly as she walked into the living room, her blonde hair pulled flawlessly up into a messy bun. Soon after, Alice's petite form bounded in, full of energy, and flopped on the sofa next to Lily. Three boys followed her, one tall and lanky with mousy brown hair, one tall and confident, with a swagger in his step, and the other tall and happy, running his hand through his already messy hair.
"So, what do you want to do? I mean, we have the house to ourselves for a week, so..?" Lily asked her friends, wondering if they had anything in mind, because she hadn't planned ahead.
"I don't know, petal, as long as I'm with you everything is amazing." Sirius teased, slinging an arm over her shoulder while the others laughed at his shamelessness.
Boy, this week was going to be… interesting, to say the least.
This may turn into a one-shot series, if you guys want? Tell me whether I should expand this or not!:)
