Death and Rebirth
Her hair formed slight waves that were put up in a small ponytail at the moment, with some strands framing her face.
With a small sigh she began to sip her tea. It was so unlike her to be on time but then again things weren't the same anymore.
Every second that passed by was an eternity as she waited for the time guardian. A few weeks ago all these different things had been puzzling her. Things her friends wouldn't think her possible of.
That is of course to say that everything was changing for her. She noticed a new power in her, a revitalizing force that was a mystery to her.
One week ago, around dawn she woke up from a nights sleep and suddenly felt lighter. Almost as if she was walking on air, with ever step she took she became more and more agile.
All her limbs felt soothed and strong as if she could do anything. Summersaults, back flips, all with out any strain or faults what so ever.
She had labeled it her rebirth. She didn't know why. Then again her basic understanding of the world was blurring.
"Serena?" said a young woman who looked about 24. Her hair was a deep forest green and her eyes were pools of maroon that never ended. Serena signaled her to take a seat. With a deep breath and a large gulp of her tea Serena started what would be a change in the universe.
"Setsuna, as you may or may not know the darkness has now purged it's self from the world," her words were chosen quickly and articulately making her seem older than she looked.
"The world is no need for sailor senshi, me, or any other form of protection," with a solemn breath she went on ", and after all this were going to die with no smashing ending of peace with me as the ruler"
"The world was at peace before I even got here there is and never was any need for senshi in the Universe" Serena's voice was of god, as if the befallen judgment had been called.
"THAT'S NOT TRUE PRINCESS I'VE SEEN THE FUTURE, THE PROPHECY HAS BEEN FORTOLD, YOU WILL RULE," Setsuna took a deep calming breath so she could get a hold of her murticular emotions.
"Setsuna I love you with all my heart," Serena spoke softly her hand slowly stroking her cheek ", I would do everything and anything for you even if it meant never seeing you again"
Setsuna was going to break down and she knew it. Her vision became blurred as Serena's soft hand caressed her cheek. After all the pain and suffering she went through Serena has realized everything. There was only one step for her.
The few seconds silenced passed and Serena began again." I've remembered from the our passed life or lives would be more accurate and all the times I've passed with my senshi, friends and sometimes enemies"
Tears now filled both there eyes knowing this would be better taken somewhere private. Serena removed her hand from Setsuna's cheek and whipped what could have been tears away from her crystal blue eyes. Slowly taking Setsuna's hand she led her to her apartment.
