Author Note: Hey guys so I am writing a new storyline for Steve. It was inspired by tonight's (12/10) episode. I don't own any of the characters or the show. However, I own any spelling mistakes or grammar errors that I make are mine.
McGarrett's house
Steve and Katie are sitting down and watching movie after Steve's long day at work. Steve is almost asleep when he hears a knock on the door. Katie moves over so Steve can get up and answer the door. He opens the door to see that Grace and Danny are standing there.
"Hey. What's going on here?" Steve says to his best-friend and Grace as Danny walks into the house. Grace sits down by Katie and watches her father.
"Grace wants to ask you something." Danny reveals to his best-friend. Steve looks at Grace. He walks over to her and kneels down to her. "Gracie, ask him."
"Will you and Katie go camping with me and Danno and the girls that are in our group." Grace says to her uncle.
"we would love too. When do we leave?" Steve asks her as she starts to smile.
"Tomorrow." Danny says to his best-friend.
"alright, we will pick you up tomorrow." Steve says as Danny and Grace as they head out the door. Steve comes and lays with his wife.
"Hey, you need to go get pack for your camping trip and then go to bed." Katie says to her husband. Steve gets up and heads to upstairs to their bedroom and start packing. After he is down packing, he climbs into bed. He is asleep by the time that she comes up. Katie is about five months pregnant with their first child.
The next morning, Steve and Katie wake up to head for the camping trip with Danny and Grace. Lucy goes off to go to the bathroom and finds an injured hiker that needs help. It turns bad towards the end of it when this guy comes up and takes both Lucy and Steve and Katie hostage.
"Come on man, take it easy. She's a little girl while my wife is pregnant. Please let them stay here." Steve pleads to the man.
"Sorry no because then you will try to do something." the man replies back.
"No i won't." Steve lies to the man.
They find the trial and let for the stuff. Steve helps Katie and Lucy thou the they meet up with another guy, They manage to escape and Steve orders the girls to hide in the tree and that he will come back. Chin manages to find the girls while Danny finds Steve. Steve is reunited with his wife.
"Are you okay?" Steve asks his wife.
"Yeah i am fine." Katie says as he gives her a kiss. "What happen to your face?"
"The guy hit me but Danno saved me from him" Steve says to his wife.
