Under his grandfather's careful gaze Laxus was wearing a line through the guild.
It was a sunny afternoon in Magnolia. The type of weather perfect for taking missions. Yet every single member of Fairy Tail was gathered at the Hall. Warily they all watched Laxus begin what would later be called the 'Worry Line' as he paced from on end of the building to the other.
Why was everyone in the guild watching Laxus wear the floor down?
Mira was having a baby. Laxus' baby. Right then. Upstairs.
It took hours and most of the guild was feeling more than a little panic. Was it supposed to take this long? The members who had been there for little Asuka's birth were the only ones keeping mildly calmer. Somewhere between Macao trying to explain the birds and the bees to Romeo, with Cana covering Wendy's ears, and Alzack and Freed trying to stop Laxus' pacing Porlyusica came down the stairs.
Midwife she was not but she'd be damned, and in the ground, before anyone else oversaw the medical care of Fairy Tail. She gestured for Laxus to go upstairs, he'd been kicked out earlier because who know what Mira would have done to him in her state. Once gone Porlyusica walked to Makarov to give him the news whilst the whole of Fairy Tail shifted their gaze to her.
Makarov stood and grinned, "I'd like to announce that Fairy Tail has a new little girl in the family."
The guild erupted into cheer as the hall exploded with pink 'It's a Girl' decorations and Kinana broke out the celebratory booze.
A while later Mira and Laxus came down to introduce the new member of Fairy Tail. The small bundle was immediately cooed over passed among immediate family members. A debate broke out over who the infant resembled more. Overall the guild welcomed their littlest member with much enthusiasm.
Sorcerer Weekly approached them for a piece on the new baby of the Demon Model Mira and Lightning Dragon Laxus. While deciding to withhold any images of the baby they allowed a small piece.
We are both proud and happy to announce to the world that our favorite mage guild has a new addition. Mirajane and Laxus are proud new parents of a baby girl. Born last weekend during Sunday afternoon Faelynn Dreyar has finally joined the world. The baby girl is happy and healthy and has definitely already wormed her way into the hearts of Fairy Tail.
We may have caught wind of rumors saying that Fairy Tail's Titania Erza is the next one expecting an addition to the family. Possibly late this winter? More on that story as it develops!
