Legend of Zelda Oneshot
Hey guys! Satin'sLittleDemoness here! This is my first oneshot, so feel free to make corrections and leave it in the reviews!
Amber sat in complete silence, an open book in her lap and her phone resting on her leg.
Every once and a while, the phone would let off a small sound and Amber would switch from the book to the phone. Her deep blue eyes would briefly scan the screen and her nimble fingers would dance across the keyboard, the movement slightly disrupting her golden hair that fell past her shoulders in gentle waves. I watched as she hit send and returned her attention to her book.
Sighing, I got up and walked towards her. She looked up at me quizzically.
"What's up, Link?" she asked as I came closer. Her voice was sweet and I blushed at the soft sound. I swallowed the lump in my throat. ~I have to tell her how I feel or the suspense will eat me alive~ I thought to myself, taking a deep breath. I sat down beside my crush and pushed a short lock of blonde hair out of my own cerulean eyes.
"Uhm, Amber?" I said nervously, blushing again as she met my gaze.
"Yes, Link?" came the soft, honey sweet reply.
"I just wanted to say that I've been crushing on you for a while now and I was just wondering, uhm...will you go out with me?" I asked shyly, closing my eyes and bracing for rejection.
Instead of the cruel, bittersweet answer I was waiting for, I was met with the sound of a book snapping shut and the warmth of slender arms wrapping around my neck. They pulled me down until my lips met with another pair that melded with my own.
On instinct, I wrapped my arms around Amber's slender frame and pulled her closer. My heart hammered in my chest as we broke apart and she smiled a bit breathlessly.
"So...does that mean...?" I started shyly, trailing off at the end. She giggled at my edginess and I blushed.
"Yes, Link. I would love to be your girlfriend," She stated, smiling again.
And this time, I smiled back at my girlfriend.

I wrote this when I was about 14 and I was just starting to write fanfictions. My good friend GingerLover turned me onto it.
