"Hiccup, Hiccup," A voice trilled pulling me from the inky all-consuming blackness that encroached him, the brilliant white light that invaded my eyes blinded me when I did regain my eyesight I was met by the sight of Toothless' glowing eyes gazing into mine, I don't know how long we gazed into each others eyes, the greens and yellows in Toothless' eyes blended together in a mesmerizing.
"As much as I like gazing into your eyes I have some things to tell you." The same voice trilled, after looking around and finding no one else I looked up at Toothless
"Toothless is it you I am hearing?" I was just confused now.
"Yes Hiccup I am the one who is speaking to you." Toothless chuckled, "Now as I have said I have some information that you need to know."
"Toothless you know that I won't reject you." I said
"Well as you know I am a Night Fury, but what you may not know is that I am the last Night Fury alive." Toothless looked saddened
"Toothless that's horrible, is there any way that I can help you?" I asked
"Hiccup I was getting to that, first you must know about Night Furies, we never had a large population and the large gave dragon killed all of the other Night Furies." Toothless began.
"Is there any way that we can revive the Night Furies?" I asked
"Yes there is a way but it will change you forever, are you willing to accept it?" Toothless asked, his eyes no longer had the playful twinkle in them, they where serious. This change in demeanor startled me.
"If I do chose to accept this what will happen?" I asked.
"This gift should you chose to accept it will change you so that you are part, if not all Night fury, if you accept this change you will not be able to return to the life you live right now." Toothless said his eves where more of a silver color than before.
"Why me Toothless? Why me and not someone else?" I asked Toothless
"Because when you first found me and cut the bolo that had bound me, you created a bond between us, this bond was part of the reason that you came back and helped me, all of the activities we did together only strengthened our bond." Toothless explained, "but yesterday when we slayed the cave dragon I felt our bond pull us together and strengthen more than the bonds between mated dragons."
"That still doesn't explain my question." I said trying to file all this information away.
"The reason is that our bond is one of the strongest in history, it is this bond that allows me to change you into a Night Fury." Toothless answered
I sat there for a while Toothless' words bouncing around in my head.
After I had finally processed this information I did the one thing that seamed natural at the moment, I fainted.
