"Shadow?"
Shadow glanced to the side, noting Amy looking at him
"Gasp *"
Amy put her hands over her mouth.
"S-Sonic ?!" - She said
Shadow let Sonic's body fall to the ground, with his strangers coming out of it
His body was covered in blood and his back to Amy. A pool of blood formed around the body. Shadow's hands had blood, as did his face and the rest of his body.
Amy looked at Sonic and then at Shadow, in sheer fear and horror.
Shadow started to walk toward him.
"Shadow?" Amy said again taking a step back, "Why did you do it? Why did you kill Sonic? I thought Sonic was your friend!"
Shadow ignored him and continued to walk toward him until he stopped.
"Amy! ... Get away from me!"
"Sha-"
"I told you to turn away!" He cut Amy, yelling at her.
He came with his fist toward Amy, but he hit a wall. Bricks flew. Amy fell to the floor with a few bricks at her side.
"Please stop Shadow!"
'At the.!'
Shadow extended a Chaos Spear with his left hand
'At the!'
He was ready to do it
'At the!..'
Tears formed in Amy's eyes, as others rolled away
'Amy!'
'I'm so sorry!'
"Are you always going to protect me, Shadow?" He remembered what he had said to her long ago; To protect it ...
He snapped back to reality, realizing the mistake he had made.
"No! No! Amy ..!"
He dropped to his knees and stared at the blood spilled on the floor. This was no blood whatsoever, It was hers, his beloved.
"Amy !" - He screamed
"I love you" - He murmured
Shadow opened his eyes and got up panting and sweating like crazy. He looked around.
"It's just ... a dream ..." - He told himself
He looked at his hand.
"How could I ... Rose" - He murmured the last word
"Shadow?" He heard a voice.
He looked away and saw Amy.
"Are you alright?" - She asked
"Amy ..?"
She then hugged him. Shadow hesitated a little, but hugged back. He hugged her tighter.
"Now I'm fine," he murmured.
