Poet's Notes – Hi there, weren't this kind of thing from me, were you? Oh well, I like haikus and the idea just came to me last night, so…yeah, here I am. Hehe… Anyways, this here is a collection of haikus pertaining to the characters and some events from Final Fantasy 8. Also, for all of you who might not know what a haiku is, it's a form of Japanese poetry containing only three lines where the first and third lines have a 5-syllable count and the second has a 7-syllable count.
Before you read on however, although I don't refer to anyone by name, there are some spoilers so I suggest that you finish the game before if you haven't.
Disclaimer – I do not own anything from Final Fantasy 8, just the haikus.

An inflicted wound.
