This isn't easy to say, so maybe I'll just get into it. I know you try to be so strong, standing there like a man ought. No emotion to speak of and certainly no tears to indicate that you're a real human being. You've been turned into a machine, haven't you? No glitches, no faults. You're so cold…but I can see you when no one else does. When you think no one is looking, I am. Those broad shoulders sag and that handsome face is shrouded by those huge hands. Your body bends at that sculpted waist and your elbows hit those defined thighs with frightening accuracy. I guess that's why I'm writing you this letter, Dave. Just to let you know I'm here if you ever want to cry. I won't tell anyone, I promise.
