Generation 1: Where'd you go?, a pokémon fanfic

Charmander looked up. He turned to his close friend Squirtle, "He said he'd be back."

Squirtle rolled her eyes, "Not this again. He's GONE, Charmander."

Charmander forcefully shook his head, "He can't be gone!"

Bulbasaur lifted his sleeping eye open, "Charmander, you've got to let him go! Ever since he got those brand new starters, he forgot about us."

Charmander began sobbing, "No. I can't believe that! We have to find him, he must be in trouble!"

Bulbasaur rolled his eyes, "Maybe, but he won't ask for our help anyway."

Charmander fell to his bum, and cried softly.

Bulbasaur shook his head. He walked to Charmander's side. "There's a song I know. You want to hear it? I sing it when I'm sad, it takes the pain away."

Charmander slightly nodded, "Please."

Squirtle walked to her friend's side, and they both sat, calmly waiting for their friend's voice to begin its tune.

Bulbasaur cleared his throat, and sang.

This is for those of you who miss the way Pokemon used to be. I heard this song on my brother's CD, and had to use it. If you read my profile, I was thinking of this fic for a while. The song is Fort Minor's "Where'd you go?"
