Chapter One: The Chunin Exams: Stage Two
Sakura .v. Dosu
She stood on the balcony watching as the medics pulled Misumi off the field on a stretcher. She was getting nervous, she hoped she wouldn't get the other girl from the sand village. Just by the last two matches, Gaara nearly killed Lee and Kankuro just squished this guy. They seemed a force not to be reckoned with. Her eyes flashed up to the board as she saw her name flash up, she closed her eyes and took a deep breath.
'Please not her…anyone but her…'
As she opened her eyes she noted the board…Dosu. She smiled,
'Oh thank you!'
Naruto turned to her with all his enthusiasm,
"Yeah! You got this Sakura! Kick his ass!"
She just rolled her eyes. She turned to find Lee in front of her,
"I agree Sakura, you can beat him, you've seen him in action before."
She smiled and nodded at him. She turned and jumped down into the arena, she watched as Dosu walked to the other side, this wasn't going to be easy, but she could do it. Dosu chuckled,
"Hello again pink one…ready for round two, or do you think you should forfeit? I mean I have seen you fight before."
She smiled,
"You have no idea what I am capable of…"
He smirked and nodded.
Kankuro stood beside his brother and sister, he looked down at the arena and smirked slightly,
"Hello Cutie…"
As he leaned against the balcony. Temari looked down at the girl and shook her head.
"Yeah right Kankuro, you'd never have a shot with her, she's one of the top medical ninja's in her village."
Kankuro smirked,
"Oh..no…I am injured…"
He put his hand to his chest,
"I think…I need a nurse…"
Temari scoffed as Baki chuckled. Gaara hadn't said a word. He just stared at the girl, memorized by her hair. A ninja called the match to begin. Sakura smiled, getting into a defensive stance, holding a kunai in her hand. Dosu just laughed,
"I'm surprised Sakura…I figured you would know that those won't work on me…"
It was now Sakura's turn to smile,
"Well it's a good thing that this isn't meant for you."
She gripped the kunai in her mouth as she furiously made hand signed. Dosu wasn't about to sit there and let her finish, he charged at her, lifting his sleeve to reveal his metal attachment. She had seen this in action before, she hurried, moving her hands faster, grabbing the kunai in her hand she smashed it into the ground below her, creating a blue wall of chakra. As he couldn't stop fast enough he smashed into it. Everyone stared in disbelief at the girl. Temari gasped,
"That's amazing chakra control!"
Sakura smirked as she stood behind her wall. Dosu smirked,
"I see that you were holding back before…"
Sakura smiled,
"I haven't seen anything yet…"
Kankuro chuckled,
"I wanna see…"
Sakura put on a pair of black gloves on and concentrated her chakra into her fist. She yelled as she hit the ground, crumbling it beneath Dosu's feet, making her wall disappear.
Everyone stared, Baki stood dumbfounded,
"What ridicules strength!"
At this point even Gaara's eyes were wide.
'That's amazing! What makes her so strong?'
Temari laughed while slapping Kankuro on the back,
"Yup…you defiantly don't have a shot kitty ears…"
Kankuro grumbled as he pushed her arm away, he smirked and exclaimed,
"wanna bet…"
Sakura attacked Dosu with a series of chakra infused hits. All of which made contact. He got in one or two really good blows but his chakra was nearly gone before his match, and thanks to him hitting her chakra wall he was completely drained. One final hit to the jaw ended this match. Sakura smiled as it was announced that she had won. She walked back up to the stairs to join her team. Kankuro started walking,
"I have to know her…"
