"Big sister!" I called as I ran up the stairs to my older sister's room. " There's a visitor!"

She opened her door and smiled at me. She had long, blonde hair and deep blue eyes. This was strange because I had pure black hair and emerald green eyes. Another weird thing about me was that I had snow-white wolf ears and tail, which I always kept concealed under a baseball cap and my tail tucked safely in my pants. When I had asked about them, she replied that she didn't know why I had them either.

"Okay, I'll be down in a minuet. Go keep the visitor company, okay?" She replied sweetly, still smiling.

"Sure!" I said as I ran back down the steps and into the living room where he was seated. He also had black hair, but it wasn't as black as mine. He kept a stern face, which seemed to have developed over years of hardships.

" Um, mister...?" I started to say, but stopped when I realized I still didn't know his name.

"Roy Mustang," He interrupted, seeing the confused look on my face.

"Mister Mustang, my sister says she'll be down in a minuet. Excuse my rudeness, but why are you here and what do you want with my sister?" I questioned him.

He gave me a surprised look before replying," I don't really have anything I want from your sister. However, there is something I want from you."

Now it was my turn to look surprised. "What do you want?" I demanded.

He didn't say anything but took out a small notepad, full of scribbles. "Fubuki, age fourteen; Abandoned by mother and father as a small child leaving her older sister, Yasashii, to take care of her. She self-taught herself a difficult type of alchemy to help others around her village." He concluded as he shut the small book.

"Where did you get that information?" I demanded, getting even more frustrated when he didn't answer . I was about ask more questions, when I heard a scream coming from upstairs. My sister!

I quickly dashed up the stairs, fearing the worst. My fears came true when I entered my sister's room. Blood was splattered on the walls, the crimson liquid pooling from a limp body laying in the middle of the floor. My sister's body.

I felt like everything in the world worth living for was gone. Nothing mattered. I fell to my knees, tears pooling out of my eyes. "No..no... she can't be dead.. she can't!" I sobbed out, slowly crawling over to her body. " She can't! No! YASASHII!" I yelled as I laid my head down head down on her lifeless body, ignoring the blood. "Why? Why... why?" I whimpered softly as Roy entered the room.

"Fubuki..." He whispered as he slowly walked over to me. " I'm sorry.."

" Why did she die? What did she do wrong? She was my only family... my only sister...why? Mustang, why? Why did she die?" I cried out, looking in Roy's direction.

" It was so sudden.. I don't know Fubuki, I don't know." He said as he bent down, trying to comfort me. " Fubuki, would like to become a state alchemist? I know this is a awkward time, but-"

"I would." I announced as I shakily stood up, wiping the tears from my eyes. " If I became a state alchemist, I could stop pointless murders like this."

Roy gave me a great look of surprise before nodding slowly. "Very well then. Come with me."
