Hey guys! My first attempt at anything poetic. A general free verse...I think. Based on the first few lines of perplexing metaphors at the beginning of the second game. I saw it as a Roxas thing and just kind of went with it. Hope you like!

Yours and Mine
A scattered dream that's like a far off memory, a far off memory that's like a scattered dream.
I try to line the pieces up, yours and mine.
The confusion is simple, the simplicity is perplexing
The unattainable is within reach, to you and me
I wake up while you're asleep, and you lay awake while I dream
I see a reflection, yours or mine?
I lay dormant while you were twice what you should have been, and became active as you lost yourself
I know not what you are, you or me
I lost you while I loved, and slept while you weren't with her
I know not what I am, you or me
I know what you cannot, and won't remember what you never will
To feel a little of sync, is it you or me?
To hide while you run, and to escape while you dream
I can't find emotion, yours or mine
I hope to stay with the one I love, just as you stay with her
Who's is she, yours or mine?
I forgot what can't be remembered, but I loved her all the same
Who was it, you or me?
You fight the same as I, I lose control without you
Whose is the weapon, yours or mine?
You faded as I was given live, but became alive as you lived without me
I try to connect the lines, yours and mine
A year of memories go by, you won't remember and neither will I
I recall only what I can't know, me and you
