A King In His Own Right

He doesn't play around. Not even with his own 'comrades'. It's an annoying fact, indeed, but he doesn't plan to change for anyone. [Yuuri-centric, mentions of Sora, Ruri and Rin. Set during the current Synchro arc. T to be safe -Rin not important enough to be added as a character it seems..-]

What would you guys think of a fic in which Yuri is the main protagonist?

I think we'd all agree that everyone but Yuya could be one - since he doesn't seem to care about anything but Yuzu and those are not the makings of a protagonist... -.-

Oh well, first a small drabble to see if you'd guys like that :D

A King In His Own Right

Almost cheerful steps sounded as a teen, around the age of fourteen and dressed in purple nearly from head to toe, walked towards the dungeons, where they held their important prisoners.

"You really are too cheerful." a vpice sounded. The teen looked to the side to a younger boy with blue hair, pouting as he watched a golden-haired prisoner pick at some dust in front of her. "It's annoying." the older teen grinned sadistically.

"It is not my fault that you failed your mission after showing your true colours, Sora-kun."

"Don't call me that!" the younger teen burst out. "You are so high and mighty, even after failing to capture Hiragi Yuzu!"

"That girl is certainly jumpy..." the older boy, whose name was Yuri, spoke. "Wouldn't you agree, Ruri-chan?"

The prisoner didn't answer. She instead simply kept picking at some dust particles in front of her. Annoyed, Sora picked up a small rock that was beside him and threw at her head, causing her to wince as she began to bleed.

"Hey, now." Yuri said cooly. "Ruri-chan is very important to the Professor... you don't want to be the one who harms the goods, do you, Sora-kun?"

"Oh please! The only thing that matters is her - their - bracelet!"

"Which does remind me." the older teen spoke, seemingly not having having heard anything. "The Professor should be done with Rin-chan soon..."

"You really are..."

"Too highy and mighty." Yuri finished. "No need to repeat yourself. But a king has every right to do so, don't you think?"

Sora just grumbled as the purple-haired teen crouched in front of the bars and waved in a mocking manner.

"Hello, Ruri-chan... how are you today?"

Considering how little they showed us ... not sure if I stayed in canon... oh well.
