Elsa had been with Anna for about a year when her career sky rocketed. unfortunately fame required her to be in several places around the country when she would honestly rather she spent that time with Anna. This time her tour had been scheduled poorly and due to her record label she was performing over valentines had been gone several weeks already when she had to drop that news on Anna.
Anna had taken the news really poorly but had kept a brave face on it all because she knew the career was important to her lover. It just so happened that the other knew how important valentines day was to the Anna so she promised to call her on the day and they could chat all day as if they were together, anna agreed with this idea because she felt it was the best she would get to soothe her aching heart.
Time went by and it was the fateful day, it started out sadly for anna, having to make breakfast for herself and sit across from elsa's empty chair. Then she sat by the phone knowing that it would probably be another hour before... the phone rang, snapping her out of her reverie and she answered it in reflex action "Hello Anna Speaking" On the other end of the line came elsa's sleepy voice "Hey... i didnt wake you did i?" she asked yawning
it would have seemed the other way around, that anna had woken elsa, but anna hadnt dialled the number. "Did you stay up all night just to phone me?" she asked her heart swelling with love for the other. though elsa's reply was less than uplifting. "I couldnt sleep so i just stayed by the phone so i could call" At least elsa had called, that was the good thing, she guessed the tour was really getting to the white haired starlet
"So i dont know if you want to say it but happy valentines day Elsa" she tried with a small hopeful smile "Same to you anna, i hope you are having agood morning" came the ever so prim and proper response, it was endearing to anna that the other still felt the need to act this way towards her, as if they had only just met last week. Elsa yawned from the exhaustion and said "Well i sent you something for valentines day it should be arriving any minute now,i had it express delivered to make sure, you may have to go sign for it when it arrives though" As if on cue the doorbell rang. after a few secondsit rang again. "Arent you going to answer the door?" she asked anna "Even if it isnt the gift you need to sign for it could be important" she said "O-oh... I didnt want to facethe world without you today" Anna whined slightly "Anna" elsa said, that was all it took. anna humphed as she stood up and walked to the door
Anna opened the door and froze. her eyes taking in the sight of her loved one before raising the phone back to her ear
"I have to go, there is this cute dork at my door who i need to make out with, and i cant have you listening in on that"
elsa would blush and slip her phone into her pocket, thats all she really had time to do before the two of them met in a tangle of love and passion that had lay thick as the tension on a steel cable for the last week that she had been away, when the kiss finally broke off she said "Happy valentines day Anna"
