A/N: OMK...just oh my freaking OMK. Please, please, please don't run away scared...but this is a MegaPowers fic/drabble thing...and if you don't know what that means, please check wikipedia or the nearest WWE classics DVD. I don't own these guys, and really I don't think anyone other themselves would want too, but it was plauging my brain until I had to write it down. Nothing too explicit, I could never inflict that type of pain on my readers, but just enough to get the point across...and in case that's vauge, there are slashy mentionings in this fic/drabble thing...ye be warned.
It started with a handshake that was toted to have shaken the foundations of the wrestling world. It then was followed with a fan favorite tag team that left crowds standing in ovation as they made their ways back up the aisle. However the joining of two of the biggest names not only started a wrestling wild fire but awoken a similar burn that scorched skin and left breaths stolen as teasing hands, and questing lips.
To anyone watching they were merely keeping alive kayfabe, running around town after town together; eating in fine restaurants together, but only one other person knew for certain what was going on. And she sure wasn't talking. In her own way she was the glue that probably held them together for slow long, easing egos when they clashed and covering for them when it seemed as if their secret rendezvous were on the verge on being ferreted out.
Many nights found them tangled together in their love makings after glow and tender touches fueled smiles and happy exhalations. Overly soft words never played a part to them, each one too secure in their masculinity to every truly play the 'womans' role in the relationship and soon it was too much, arguments became a regular part of their days; both in ring and out, heavy hands leaving red prints behind and raising more than one eyebrow in the back.
Way too soon the one company was too small for them both and before the cameras the Mega Powers split, leaving many a fan confused and most of the back wary of the thunderous black clouds that followed each man until the drastic measure of jumping ship had been commited and only one of the powerful duo was left at the top of the company and fans hearts. Finally it couldn't be stomached anymore and as he watched his one time lover climb into the ring he sighed and shouldered his bag, already dead set on jumping ship and trying his hand again at taming the madness that only doubled the longer they were apart; only this time he hoped that the Mania and the Madness could finally coexist in this world.
