Hey, everyone! It's almost summer break! That's when I get real busy! I was bored as heck, so I wrote this. When I started, it was going to be SoraxKairi, but when I write, it just kind of flows, and it turned into SoraxNamine. I know it's terrible, I wrote it in like five minutes, so please don't hate me!

Well…at least try to enjoy!

Sora was never one to be afraid. He always plunged straight into challenges without a second thought.

So why was this so hard for him?

All he had to do was walk up to Kairi, confess his feelings, and wait for a response.

But what if she said no?

That was probably why it was so hard.

Every chance he got, he ended up stammering, blushing, and making a fool out of himself. He saw Kairi every day. He had plenty of chances.

The day it changed was when Riku told him that Kairi liked him too.

Sora decided that he would tell her the next time he saw her. Unfortunately, she left for a year-long trip with her new boyfriend, Roxas.

Riku had lied. He just wanted Sora to confess already. Sora became distant from everyone, feeling betrayed. And gradually, everyone accepted that he was gone.

The only person that ever talked to him was Namine. She talked to him for hours, even when he would say only one or two words the whole time.

Namine's sole purpose now was to get Sora back. Back from the wasteland he had created for himself. She went to many extreme lengths, even going to his house and staying for a day.

Why? Sora wanted to know. He wasn't worth it. Everyone else had given up on him. Why couldn't she? But he was changing. He smiled more often, and soon began to forget Kairi. He couldn't remember why he had been so upset. He should be happy for Kairi, not wallowing around in self-pity.

Namine noticed that she was helping when one day Sora smiled and said "Good morning." to Riku. Riku had seemed startled, but responded happily.

When Kairi and Roxas finally came back, Sora was there along with all of their friends, welcoming them home.

It was all thanks to Namine.

Namine still came over often, and she and Sora were still close. So close, in fact, that everyone wondered when they would start going out.

They remained friends until their senior year of high school, until Sora asked her to come to his house for some reason.

"Namine… I just wanted to thank you. For everything you've done for me." He told her as he sat down on the couch.

"It's nothing, Sora. I'm happy that I could help." She sat down next to him.

"I'm serious. If there's anything that I can do to repay you, just tell me." He was staring at her intently.

There is something you could do…Namine thought. Instead of saying so, she just shook her head. "There's nothing right now…" You could tell me you love me…

"I love you."

Namine drew in a sharp breath at Sora's words. He can't be serious… "W-what?"

"I love you, Namine. Please…will you go out with me?" Sora put his hands on her shoulders. Namine was sure that her face was fire-truck red. "When I was lost, you found me."

Namine laughed shakily. "Y-yes…I will go out with you!" She surprised them both with her boldness when she threw her arms around Sora and kissed him on the lips. He kissed her back wholeheartedly.

You found me…
