A/N: This is my second drabble-y thing. I explained in a previous one (though it was for a different fandom), that I've written a few of them, all 100-300 words. Just a short scene. The last line tells you who it is that's in the shot making the comments about Veronica. And you just have to assume that Veronica has done something to get her on TV (famous PI/FBI, whatever you want). Enjoy! R&R! Thanks. –Mac
Disclaimer: I don't own Veronica Mars.
A Beauty So Dangerous
"To think that such a beautiful thing could be so dangerous…" A guy shook his head.
"You can't underestimate Veronica Mars." A voice responded to his comment. "She may be tiny and look cotton-candy-cute but deep down she's a fiery devil just waiting to be released."
A woman's head picked up from the next table over, "It sounds like you know her."
The first guy looked interested now, asking excitedly, "You know Veronica Mars? Like personally?"
"I used to." The bitterness over why he didn't know her anymore evident in his voice. "But she's just the same as she always was."
The woman looked intrigued, not by the bitterness, but by the barely noticeable sadness that laced his words. "What happened?"
"That guy had it right." He gestured at the guy who had made the first comment. He picked up his bad and slung it over his shoulder as he prepared to leave. "She's dangerous."
He then exited the small coffee shop, ignoring the images of her that were still flashing across the television screen. Leaving the few customers who had been listening in both confused and in awe.
"Hey, wasn't that, that movie star's kid?"
