Jealous

Jealous. He was jealous, he admitted to himself. He was jealous of the way she looked at just him when they walked through the doors of the new safe house on the beach. The way their eyes locked on each other, almost instantly, like they've been doing it for years. The way a soft sigh of relief left her lips after looking him over for injuries as he did her. The way the smile brightened up her face when he pulled her into his arms with a kiss on the top of her head, holding each other tight, and he could tell he had a smile on his face also, both content. Pulling back they looked each other in the eyes ignoring the other three set of eyes that were lingering on them for the longest of time, waiting for something to come up or for someone to say something to break the tension and uncomfortable silence that had made its way to their "family". But the two in the middle of the room didn't seem to mind, because the world around them didn't exist. They were in their world, one that only consisted of them – now and forever more.
Well, this 200-word drabble is my attempt to get back into the swing of things and I hope this helps me get back into the writing game because I don't know about you guys but I miss interacting with you all. So, for now this is only for my Nikita & Mikita family if I still have some of you left that is, and with that I'll leave you with this: Who do you think this story is about? Did you like it? And I'll try to update "If I Die Young" very soon after I post the follow up to this story very soon, okay? It'll be called "Their World" (I won't promise because I once heard that "promise is a big word". Can anyone tell me who said that and from where they're from – movie, show, song, etc.)

BTW, how awesome was "Wrath"? By far my favorite episode, last night's would have been up there if there was more Mikita moments, what can I say I'm a sucker for Mikita moments? Aren't you? (BTW, who wants so hot steamy Mikita making love scene, and a Michael getting jealous of Owen – for the way he "take care of" Nikita – or Ryan – finding out that they kissed twice – I know I do!)
