Sonnet about Bakura and Ryou; for although light and dark are opposite, they can not survive without the other, and therefore are the same.

This was written back in Dec 06, as an un-rhyming 4 line stanza poem, but I found it tonight and changed it, turning into a retarded sort of sonnet, switching from iambic tetrameter and iambic trimetre before ending in usual sonnet format…or at least that's what it's supposed to be. Maybe I am learning something in university.

Disclaimer: I do not Yu-Gi-Oh! Or any of the characters.

Enjoy ^_^

-------------

Like moth to flame, your light attracts

I can't control my need

I lust and loathe your innocence

Yet purity, calls to me

But I a being dark as night

Creature of shadows sin

Would heaven love this devils beast?

Could hell love in return?

Dark needs light; that they might be

Their fates entwined the same

Without each other, each are none

Both joy, and both are pain

My light, my love

We're sin, we're hate

Once again: retarded sort of sonnet, switching from iambic tetrameter and iambic trimetre. Shakespeare made up his kind of sonnet, and so i'm making up mine, so don't tell me this isn't a real sonnet form. It was so hard to purposely not make it rhyme; I kept coming up with rhymes, lol.

Thank you to Adam, who helped me sort out the bit I got stuck on, even though he's not reading it here, lol

Hope you liked it
