"I told you it was a bad idea to do that" Day 14

OMG so I JUST realized this was a thing and I've wanted so bad to do these prompt challenges. So hopefully you'll accept me late, and I'll go in later and catch up. Sorry this one is so short, but I am so, so rusty. Stick with me if you like.

"I told you it was a bad idea to do that!" She wailed, half in apology, half in anger as she stomped her foot on the terrace for good measure. He was laughing on the ground in front of her, his gloved hands wrapping around his stomach as if he were trying to hold in his laughs – or perhaps in pain from the swift kick Marinette had dealt with shocking accuracy.

"I believe you now, princess," he managed, gasping out words in between his laughs. "I just wasn't expecting such violence from you."

Marinette pursed her lips together, he arms going stiff against her side as she peered down at the cat on the roof. "I told you I didn't like being tickled. I told you it was a bad idea, and you did it anyway. I take back any sort of guilt I felt," she snapped, sitting heavily down on the edge of the chair. On the list of things she couldn't stand, tickling was in the top five: right under Chloe and Hawkmoth. Her wounded pride was debating adding a certain black cat into the mix.

"I'm sorry!" the boy managed, his laughs starting to die off. He gave a slight wince in its place as he adjusted his position to rest beside her feet, resting his head against her knee. "I paw-mise I won't do it again!"

She felt a tug at her lips. "That was an awful pun, even for you."

"They can't all be purr-fect….like your aim." He yelped as she gave him a joking push on the shoulder.

"Just no more tickling me, got it?" she instructed, moving her fingers to his hair, lightly scratching against his ears in an unspoken apology. He nodded against her hand, snuggling his face against her leg.

"To be fair, you know I've never been that good with following directions," he murmured against her skin, his breath sending a slight shiver over her skin.

"Then you should practice," she stammered out.

"But you're adorable when you laugh," he said, his smile showing no hint of irony as he titled his head back to look at her. "How else am I supposed to hear it?"

"I guess you'll just have to actually making funny puns." She stuck her tongue out, teasing.

"You wound my pride, my princess!" he pouted, pursing his lips. "And my stomach. It hurts to breathe!"

"Well I told you it was a bad idea!"
