The end of Naito Kururugi
Naito ran through the remains of an old building, his leg bleeding fairly badly he had been shot during a battle when he had decided to flee he was now running from that person,
"I can't die I still have to protect Sky!" He shouted in his head as the sound of a gun shot rang through the air, Naito stopped in his tracks and hid behind a huge chunk of rock his heart beating so loud in his chest that he could barely hear himself think he was scared out of his mind,
"There is no point in hiding Naito you have to face the fact that you will die today in this place" Came a voice from the distance but not to far behind Naito who was frozen still in fear
"What do I do?" Naito thought to himself "There's no where for me to run to" Naito thought as he heard the sound of footsteps getting closer and closer "I promised Sky I would always protect her and would always be by her side" Naito said as he looked up into the eye's of the person who was sure to be his killer, Naito stared at the gun that was now pointing at him
"This is the end for you Naito" Zero said smirking under his mask,
"Sky I'm sorry I couldn't keep my promise" Naito thought and closed his eye's and a few minutes later the sound of a gun shot rang out in the building for no one to hear, Naito's body fell to the side he was still alive and yet he felt no pain what so ever,
"Naito, Naito, NAITO!" Came the frantic shouting of Sky, she was searching for him and from Naito's guess heard the shot,
"Looks like I must leave you here to suffer" Zero said and left tossing the gun into a pile of rocks stirring up some dust,
"Sky I'm sorry" Naito said as his eye's slowly closed and his breathing slowed, Sky searched desperately and soon found Naito she rushed to his side and dropped to her knee's beside him, she reached out with her hand and touched his shoulder
"Naito a…are you ok?" She asked but she knew that no matter what nothing would be ale to save him now, Naito's eyes slowly opened to look into Sky's tear stained ones
"Sky I'm sorry but I cant keep that promise anymore…" Naito said and watched as tears fell from Sky's eyes, Sky grabbed Naito and pulled him into a hug
"I'm going to miss you so much" She said as more tears fell, Naito hugged Sky weakly before wisppering something into her ear, "Goodbye Sky…." He said and closed his eye's for the last time never to open them again…
