Um. Yeah. I know I just posted my first story and only the first chapter YESTERDAY, but I've been DYING to write this story for a pretty long time. So... Here it is!
Disclaimer: I don't own InuYasha - Rumiko Takahashi does. I own only the story idea and the OC's I've created. Oh, and I also don't own the game "kagome kagome". It's pretty disturbing, isn't it though? O.o
Summary: "Kagome, kagome/the bird in the cage/when, oh when will it come out/in the night of dawn/the crane and turtle slipped/who is in front of behind?" InuKag
First things first. If you don't know about the whole "kagome kagome" game, or what it entails, please watch episode 16 of the Final Act. With Hitomiko and the whole Kagome knowing about what power she was born with. Then this story (somewhat :P) will make sense. Thanks!

I've always hated that game. They'd always make me be the one in the middle, and they'd circle me, with that awful chant...
Kagome, kagome
Kago no naka no tori wa (the bird in the cage)
Itsu itsu deyaru (when, oh when will it come out)
Yoake no ban ni (in the night of dawn)
Tsuru to kame ga subetta (the crane and turtle slipped)
Ushiro no shoumen daare (who is in front of behind?)
And I've always been able to 'see' – so to speak – who was behind me. I still don't understand why I was born with that power...
"Ushiro no shoumen daare!" The children slowed to a stop around the young girl.
"Hide-chan."
"Eh? How did you know?" Hide scratched at his head in confusion.
Little Kagome turned and shrugged. "I just knew."
I was able to save Hitomiko, the priestess who was brought back to life by Naraku's spider webs and taught me how to use the bow from Mount Azumi, by using that strange ability. But that was all I've ever needed, so why was I given the talent to 'see' behind me? Not only to win at the "Kagome Kagome" game and to save a priestess, I'm sure.
Little did I know just how much I needed that power in the future...
Yes, very short. But this is just the introduction... I guarantee you the next chapters will definitely be longer.
