The final blow struck my chest and I staggered, ocean blue eyes stretching wide. My sitar vanished in a cloud of bubbles as I sunk to my knees.

The cry tore from my throat. I'd failed… Zexion would never be avenged… I'd failed my one and only love.

A faintly transparent figure stood watching me, a small smile on his soft lips, one entrancing dark blue eyes hidden by a curtain of silky slate hair.

I walked almost drifted towards him, eyes twinkling. We wrapped our arms around each other and I leant my forehead down against his. Tears trickled from under my closed eyes as I sobbed.
"Zexy… Oh Zexy… You're here… I love you Zexy…"
I spoke these words with new heart felt meaning.
His small smile grew larger and his eyes shone with a soft light. Bubbles rose around us now shining in the darkening world. We were fading together… vanishing into whatever came after. I wasn't scared, I had Zexion… That's all I would ever need.

The world had vanished.
