Dick Grayson looked up to find a pair of bright green eyes boring into his own, making him blush, and turn away from the sudden attention. He fiddled with his pencil this thought repeating in his head - 'This cannot be happening.' or 'Were in the middle of a freakin exam!'
The proctor stood up from her disk and went around the rows, looking for any signs of cheating: (this includes) whispering, passing notes, hand gestures, and especially texts. However, all she found was foul play around the boys closely seated to her desk up front.
Wally West was one of them, as he was the current joker around school. Him and along with his buddy Artemis, who was seated in the desk up front of him. Together they made discreet noises around the room, most of them catcalls directed upon unsuspecting students.
Dick was the latest of the victims, which was evident when Wally started applying red lipstick to his lips while he was gazing at Dick; No it was more like a heated stare accompanied with a smug smirk.
Dick visibly cringed, but manage to hold himself together, this thought repeated - 'Focus only on the exam. Focus on filling those ovals!' - But when he looked up, so as to take a break, Wally was still looking in his direction. Suddenly the thought changed to - 'Doesn't he even know he could get caught?'
He almost slapped himself. Since when did he ever care about Wally's own foolishness? If he gets caught then it will be his fault. Then again wouldn't Dick be partly to blame because he was causing the attention? Dick shook his head at the thought and caught Wally's widening smirk.
"What do you want?" He mouthed to the grinning redhead. This had better work.
Instead of mouthing back a reply, Wally tore off a piece of paper and wrote a note. Then it was passed to the kid behind him, who was still taking the test, next to the kid that was lazing around, pass two girls to the right, until finally it reached a dozing kid, with his mouth wide open. When he had it, there was evidence of a slight drool. Yuck!
Dick was very reluctant. What if this was just another trick? Chances are there is about good percent that it probably will be. But what if it was something else entirely? Something that is not a prank pulled off by the known joker around school?
He opened the paper, careful to avoid the saliva, and read in his mind the one word that appeared on the note - Date?
'What the-', he thought to himself, but then he caught the heart that Wally was forming with his two hands and then gestured to his chest, a sign that no, this was not a joke. The only question now is will he accept?
He drew out his own chap stick and smeared it delicately around his lips. Then he brought his lips together and blew a kiss to Wally, who turned bright red at the action.
"So?" Wally whispered, his cheeks only turning to its normal shade of color.
Dick rolled his eyes - 'Wasn't the answer already obvious?'- "Yes", he nodded to the redhead that was grinning wildly up front. Yea, this was indeed a yes.

Author's Note: I'm in the middle of an exam-well I was until this idea suddenly popped into my head. Bored out of my mind! So I wrote this out on a piece of scrap paper and then expanded on it later. Hmm...seems pretty straight forward then my usual oneshots, eh? Review guys! :D
