Deeks was Deeks. He didn't know what was good for him. He knew that he really shouldn't do this. But, because he was Deeks, he couldn't help himself. As he walked up to her door, he made sure his weapon was on him. Taking a final deep breath before there would be no turning back, he knocked. He heard angry footsteps, and saw her eye through the peephole. He smiled his goofy smile, and waved.
"Give me one reason that I shouldn't kill you." Kensi said, trying her best to seem angry. Deeks bought it.
"I'm sorry, cause I know you probably want to be left alone, and it's late, but I just needed to see you." Deeks said.
"You saw me. Bye." Kensi knew she was being rude. But she just really wasn't in the mood for company.
"You know what I meant. Just listen for a minute. I know the case was hard. I mean, no one wants to deal with a PTSD patient, cause they can be hard to handle. But it must've been so hard for you. And I know it was. So, do you wanna like, talk or something." Deeks stuttered. He knew he was treading on thin ice.
"No, I don't wanna like, talk or something." Kensi mocked, trying once again to slam the door.
"Kensi, please!" Deeks begged.
"Deeks, not tonight, please." Kensi said, quietly letting the door close with a soft click. A second later, she opened the door forcefully, saying "Oh, screw it.", and kissed him. This was the last thing he expected Kensi Blye to do. He didn't miss a beat, though, and kissed her back.
I DON'T USUALLY PUT HIS MUCH ROMANCE IN MY STORIES, BUT I JUST FELT LIKE DOING THIS. PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK! SHOULD I STICK TO MY USUAL JUST FRIENDSHIP STUFF OR CONTINUE TO EXPLORE SOME OF THE ROMANCE TECHNIQUES?
