Alright guys I am back! For the time being. Since I have some free time I might as well start up a new story. Unfortunately, I'm only making this a one-shot to get some of my writers block out. So let's begin shall we?

Simba lay under the shade of a tree to get some much needed sleep. He couldn't stop thinking about what happened back at the elephant graveyard. His father's lecture still echoed in his head. He regretted going to that horrid place, but the one thing he regretted the most was the fact that he took Nala with him. He shuddered at the thought of losing his best friend because of his own stupidity. He dug his paws into the earth, clenching the dirt in his paws. He now realized the dangers they faced, and it angered him to know that he was responsible for all of it.

Meanwhile, a certain cub exited the den. She shook herself to get all the sleep out of her system. She looked around to see Simba lying in the shade facing opposite direction of her. She smiled wickedly to herself as she slowly crept toward him. She remembered to lay very close to the ground, and stalked her prey. Once she thought she was close enough, she took her shot and pounced onto Simba.

Simba felt a large amount of weight collapse on him. The two rolled until both their heads were at the edge of the waterhole.

Simba, still stunned, panted heavily. "Nala!"

"Hi Simba." Nala giggled.

Simba looked at her and remembered once again what could've happened to her last night. He withdrew eye contact from her. Nala stopped laughing and tilted her head to the side.

"Simba, what's wrong?" She asked as she let him up.

Simba sat up, still refusing to look at her.

"Did I hurt you Simba? Let me h-" She began.

"No Nala it's not that it's..It's just that…"Simba tried to explain.

"About last night, and the elephant graveyard.. I never meant for you to- I didn't want…" He hung his head.

Nala could tell that her friend was upset about bringing her there. She smiled and came closer to him.

"Simba, it's okay. I'm okay, thanks to you. If you hadn't been there for me who knows what that hyena would've done." She said.

"Yes but I still shouldn't have brought you there it's my fault I-" Nala cut him off.

She nuzzled him under his chin. "Simba I'm fine.. Really. Please don't beat yourself up over it. For me?"

Simba sighed. He knew that he put Nala in a dangerous situation, but he'd do anything for her. "Okay…Nala…"

She licked his muzzle and smiled. "Good. Now let's get back to the den."

Simba nodded. Nala walked back along the path to the den. Simba looked back at the graveyard.

"Never again" He whispered to himself.
