ME

I am Caroline.
I wonder what will come next.
I hear what no one else does.
I see all the little things.
I want to know.

I am Caroline.
I pretend everything is okay.
I feel for them.
I touch the hearts.
I worry about me and them.
I cry about the same.

I am Caroline.
I understand nothing.
I say what I sometimes don't mean.
I dream of the day it might end.
I try for what I want.
I hope it will all make sense.
