"I love you
more than anything."
As a rule,
Naozumi did not remember his dreams. He
knew that humans always dreamed, so he didn't say that he did not dream. However, he was not one to remember his
dreams. Sometimes he would wonder idly
if he was missing anything, but dismissed the possibility.
He
remembered last night's dream, though.
There were no images, only sounds and feelings. He remembered a light touch on his cheek, a
feeling of a hand dragging softly down across his skin. He remembered the same kind of light kiss
he'd felt before, a warm tingling of lips on lips.
"I love you
more than anything…" The warm hand had stayed on his cheek then, and another
kiss was placed on his lips. This one
was not light, this one burned like fire, but it was not painful like
fire. There was no smoke to clog his
senses like fire, it didn't make him choke.
It made him burn too, and he lost himself in the burning.
And
suddenly, he woke up, words still rippling in his mind.
"I love you
more than anything."
The voice
was not Sana-chan's. It was much deeper,
a man's voice. At times, Naozumi had
considered being bi, if not for Sana-chan, but he had never had that much
interest in men. Certainly not in
kissing men like that, in a way he only wished to kiss Sana-chan. No, Naozumi decided, dreams did not portray
true desires.
Then why
did he feel so empty compared to in the dream?
"I love you
more than anything…"
Owari.
