History: When he was a child, he lived near Bright Falls. He lived there with his father and grandfather (his mother died and also his grandmother). His grandfather knew about the Dark Presence. Sometimes, he told stories about them in one of Thomas Zane's books. His father was a successful hunter and there, he was taught how to shoot and how to fight hand-to-hand. He also visits the Cauldron Lake, the Docks and met a friend; Rose Marigold. Sometimes, he goes out in the night finding nothing but animals.

He always turns the light on when sleeping, and always have a lantern, and a backup flashlight. He was an orphan and now an outlaw. He still lives because of his clerk job. He has a military knife in his jacket on the left.
