Death Note-Kira's World
Hello. This is my first fanfic…ever. So please don't expect too much, and reviews are welcome, but no flames please.
NOTE: I expect those of you who are reading this to have already read and/or seen DEATH NOTE and if you have not then it will be very difficult for you to understand this fanfic, the first chapter especially.
And for the sake of time and effort I am going to skip to where Near has just announced his plan about altering the Note book but before we learn of Light's counter.
Chapter one-The Warehouse
Near: Don't worry, we're not going to die.
Light(to himself): Near, if only you knew.(a smirk slowly creeps across Light's face)
Light: Whoever is outside, are you done writing down the names?
Mikami: Yes I am.
Near: Teru Mikami, if you wouldn't mind, would you come in please?
Light: Teru Mikami? Right, don't just hide there, come inside.
(Mikami opens the door and begins to walk in empty handed)
Near(Dumbfound): Teru Mikami…. Where is your Notebook?!
Light(To himself): I can't hold it any longer……
Light(begins to laugh hysterically): NEAR I WIN!
Near: What do you mean?! Why doesn't Mikami have his notebook?!
Light: Oh, you mean this forgery?! (takes fake notebook out of his jacket and throws it to the ground) Don't insult me Near… Don't you think I would have known about your little plan?! I really pity L for having such incompetent successors… He is the only one who was even close to being worthy to catch me, Kira!
Aizawa: Light, if anyone you are incompetent for having just admitted you are Kira!
Near: Besides Mikami doesn't have a Notebook, we are all safe and you are under arrest.
Light:… oh he doesn't does he? Lets see who can guess what is missing…(Light shows his wrists to both teams)
Matsuda:…the watch your father gave you….
Near(looks over at Mikami, a look of horror imprinted on his face)He's wearing two watches!
Mikami: 38, 39...
Light: It was fun while it lasted. Good-bye
Mikami:40!!
(One by one members of both teams begin to have heart attacks, Matsuda is able to hang on for a few seconds)
Matsuda: Light…why? Your father died to stop Kira! And you are Kira yourself… just tell me why… did… you…(dies)
Light: Mikami did you bring it?
Mikami: Yes god, it is right here(takes gas can out from behind the door)
Light: Good. Burn this place, to get rid of any evidence.(begins to walk out of warehouse)
Mikami: Yes god. I will obey.
Light(to himself): Yes, yes…this is the beginning of the new world, the better world, the just world. My World in which only those I recognise as good and just, will be allowed to live, and all others will die…
Kira:For Kira is Justice!! (Light laughs while in the background the warehouse burns and begins to crumble)
Mikami: I have done as you asked god, what now?
Light: Now, we will leave… I have a few stops to make…
