Disclaimer: I don't own Black Butler/Kuroshitsuji, but thanks for thinking I'm awesome enough to.
"Where is that dang butler?"
It was a very strange occurrance in the Phantomhive Mansion.
"Where is anyone?!"
Ciel stormed through the halls, looking for Sebby- I mean Sebastion, because it was his bathing time. He didn't want to admit he was a teensy bit scared that if he started the water himself he might trip and drown, and it was ridiculous to order his demon to give him a bath.
It was begginning to be the only option, though.
He narrowed his eyes and kept his pace through the manor.
He was trying to see if there was a less strange way to word it (I order you to be found!) when he noticed that clumsy maid of his. Her name was... Mei-Rin, correct?
"Hey you," he called. She stumbled, dropping the box she was carrying. Ciel rolled his eyes and continued. "Have you seen Sebastion today?"
She looked up shocked. Well, he assumed shocked. It was pretty hard to tell with those huge glasses. "Sebastion's gone? But I just saw him today, I did!"
"What?" Ciel stuttered. "Where the heck is he?!"
She stood up and brushed off her dress, blushing furiously. "I saw him just now in the in storage behind the kitchen, young master, it's true!"
He sighed in frustration andf sent her off to finish her chores.
When he reached that door, there was a soft whispering sound. Ciel suddenly remembered that was also a back door exit. Did he have someone in there with him?! Ew, that sicko.
He screwed up his nose but continued to open the door anyways.
And, of course...
"Hello, young master."
He found Sebastion sitting with his back to a stack of boxes, but he was hold a black cat, stroking it's paw pads.
Ciel stood speechless. He would have been fine if he hadn't assumed.
Sebastion was told to not bring that cat in anymore(so he brought different ones and was more carerful about it but pet her OUTSIDE), Ciel got his Sebby bath, and Mei-Rin didn't trip the rest of the day.
CRASH!
... Nevermind that last part.
But remember, the moral of the story is 'Don't assume'. Or maybe it's 'Don't sneak cats into the mansion when your master doesn't want you to and it's time to give him a bath'. Let's go with the first one...
